Shanna Grossinger, the young and eager founder of ASL Mentors came to our team with these words and a lot of ideas. We supported through the process of creating a logo, developing a branding guide, developing her business plan and strategy, and pitching to clients and mentors. We set her up with custom hosting and Google Apps email.
We encouraged the usage of creative bootstrapping to save both time and money. Using third party solutions along with custom coding and APIs, we developed a completely custom website, showcasing mentors’ customized profiles that they set up themselves, and a portal which allows mentors and mentees to schedule video mentoring sessions and provides private video calls (no Zoom or awkward third party solutions).
This system also allows mentors to track mentees’ progress. The system is also set up for automated payouts and commissions. The entire site is almost entirely automated and designed for scalability and efficiency.
